by Q: How do you prevent sore feet when walking
Q: My wife and I both play 27+ holes of golf on both Saturdays and Sundays for a total of 54+ holes in any one weekend. We always walk. My question is, is there some trick to do, to keep our feet from aching after each round?
- Thanks, Dan Hall
A:
Great to hear you are walking when you play. There really are no 'tricks' to keep your feet from aching other than a good comfortable pair of shoes. The new Florshiem MagnaForce shoe with a special 'magnet' innersole is currently said to be very comfortable. Also the Footjoy Turfmaster and Dryjoys with the IntelliGel innersole are very supporting and cushioning.
If you are still using metal spikes, it might be worth considering softspikes as an alternative – they are easier on the feet and do help make the shoe a bit lighter.
